2023-24 budget focused on growth with inclusion, says NITI CEO Aayog

In an interview with PTI, he said: “The focus of this budget is growth with inclusion. It is very balanced and will carry out all the reforms and social welfare programs that the government has carried out in recent years. Iyer said that this budget will focus on investment in infrastructure, the social sector and support for the poor and marginalized sectors. of society, but ‘focused’. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has proposed to increase the allocation for the infrastructure sector by 33 per cent to Rs 10 lakh crore in the budget. Apart from this, the fiscal deficit target has remained at 6.4 percent for the current fiscal year, while it has been reduced to 5.9 percent for the next fiscal year. Responding to a question about the Narendra Modi government’s Aspirational Block Program (ABP), Aiyar said that it falls under the Aspirational District Program. She said: “The work on the ABP budget continues.” NITI Director General Aayog said that all states have agreed to implement PBL.
