Daily digital news desk: An Air India plane suddenly caught fire. An Abu Dhabi-Calicut flight caught fire on Friday. Initially, it was assumed that one of the aircraft’s engines had caught fire. The Air India flight departed for Calicut with 184 passengers on Friday morning. The aircraft’s front engine caught fire shortly after takeoff. There is a risk of the fire spreading to other parts of the aircraft. At the same time, Air India B737-800 aircraft made an emergency landing at Abu Dhabi airport.

In total, there were 184 passengers on that plane. All passengers were safely evacuated after landing. The DGCA also issued a statement on the incident. The organization says: “A fire broke out on an Air India flight bound for Abu Dhabi-Calicut. After taking off and climbing to a height of 1000 metres, engine number 1 caught fire. The plane made an emergency landing immediately.” .
DGCA said there was no harm to any of the passengers. Initially, the aircraft’s engine caught fire due to mechanical failure. The question arises, were the parts of the aircraft checked correctly before flying? By the way, Air India has been in trouble for quite some time due to the urine controversy. The airline will have more problems in case of fire on Friday.
