Railway worker harassed and threatened;  locomotive attendant arrested along with his wife

Nagpur. The locomotive driver’s assistant was arrested along with his wife for insubordination and threatening his colleague in the guard lobby at the Itarsi end of platform 1 of the station. The wife was also arrested by the Lohmarg police after accusing her. The names of the accused are Kailash Chhote Lal Kasare (39), a resident of Ajni Railway Colony, and his wife Rajkumari Kailash Kasare (35).

According to the information, the victim is also a locomotive assistant in the guard hall. There was a dispute between the victim and the Kasare couple over some issue in recent months. Since March 11 there were frequent fights between them. It is alleged that the Kasare couple used to threaten the victim every day. Approximately 2 days ago, around 3:20 pm, the victim was doing her guard duty in the guard lobby.

During this, both Kailash and his wife Rajkumari came to the guard hall. They both had scarves tied on their faces. After getting there, he got into an argument with the victim. So he shoved and shoved he said we see how you work here too. Then both also prevented the victim from doing her job. After the intervention of the people present, the Kasare couple left the lobby of the guard.

On the other hand, the victim immediately filed a written complaint against Kailash and Rajkumari at the Lohmarg Police Station. The GRP registered a case in several sections that include disobedience, obstruction in official work and intimidation. Being a government employee, Kailash and his wife Rajkumari were arrested after getting permission from the Railway Court. Both were presented before the court where they were sent to PCR. The investigation is underway.
