Acer Nitro 5 (2022) gaming laptop with 15.6-inch screen launched, know the price

Acer has launched its Acer Nitro 5 (2022) gaming laptop in India. It comes with 12th generation Intel Core i5 and Core i7 processor options. It has been given Nvidia GeForce RTX 30-series GPUs. It was introduced at CES 2022 in January under the model number AN515-18. The device has a 144Hz refresh rate display and packs up to 16GB of RAM. It comes with RGB backlit keyboard. Dual fan cooling system has been included in Nitro 5 (2022). For thermal management, it has been given a quad exhaust port design.

Acer Nitro 5 (2022) price in India starts from Rs.84,999. The base variant comes with the Intel Core i5-12500H processor that has 8 GB of RAM. Its high-end variant comes with 16GB of RAM paired with Intel Core i7-12700H processor, which costs Rs 1,09,999. The device can be purchased from Acer Exclusive Stores, Amazon, Croma, and Vijay Sales. Both variants have also been listed on the Acer India website.

Acer confirmed to Gadgets 360 that the company will also be bringing the QHD version of this laptop at the end of April, which will have a 165Hz refresh rate.

The Acer Nitro 5 (2022) laptop runs on Windows 11 Home. This laptop has a 15.6-inch ComfyView Full HD (1,920×1,080 pixels) LED-backlit TFT IPS display with a 16:9 aspect ratio and a 144Hz refresh rate. The screen has a viewing angle of 170 degrees. The device has a choice of 12th generation Intel Core i5-12500H or Intel Core i7-12700H processor. Also available standard are up to 12GB of dual-channel DDR4 RAM and 512GB of M.2 PCIe SSD storage. Apart from this, 1TB 2.5-inch HDD storage option is also available. The laptop also packs Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 graphics with 4GB DDR6 VRAM.

The Nitro 5 (2022) sports a four-zone RGB keyboard with a dedicated NitroSense key. The keyboard has been given a gaming-friendly layout. For sound, it has dual 2W DTS:X Ultra speakers.

The device supports Killer Ethernet E2600 for wired connectivity and Wi-Fi 6 AX1650i for wireless Internet. HDMI 2.1 and Thunderbolt 4 can be seen on its ports. Bluetooth v5.1 is also supported on Nitro 5 (2022). Apart from this, it has also been given a multi-gesture touchpad. Two-finger scrolling and pinch gestures have been given on the trackpad. It is equipped with a 720p HD webcam with temporary noise cancellation and dual microphones.
