The profit of the company has increased due to the increase in revenue. In the same quarter of the previous fiscal year, the company made a net profit of Rs 211.41 crore. In a communication sent to stock exchanges, the company said its total revenue for the quarter increased to Rs 15,515.55 crore, from Rs 14,398.08 crore in the same quarter of the previous financial year.
The company’s net profit dropped to Rs 488.51 crore in the first nine months of the current fiscal year from Rs 569.45 crore in the same period of the previous fiscal year. The company’s revenue in the first nine months of the fiscal year increased to Rs 44,501.14 crore from Rs 39,347.33 crore in the same period of the previous fiscal year. Adani Wilmar sells edible oil and some other food products under the Fortune brand. It is a 50:50 joint venture between Adani Group and Wilmar of Singapore.
