Aero India Air Show: Russia to showcase fifth-generation Sukhoi fighter jets

The 14th edition of the biennial airshow will be held from February 13-17 at Yelahanka Air Force Station, Bengaluru, Karnataka.

“Rosoboronexport will include about 200 types of the most advanced Russian-made weapons and military equipment, including Su-57E fighters and Checkmate fighters and Orlan-30 drones, etc. 52E and Mi-28NE combat helicopters and transport helicopters military Mi-171SH.

The press office said that Russia will also demonstrate the Orlan-30 reconnaissance drone for the first time abroad at the Aero India 2023 airshow. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the five-day programme. In the program, along with the aircraft air show, a large exhibition and trade fair of aerospace companies will also be organized. This year, the exhibition is expected to be the largest airshow with the most participation and will include leading international think tanks, leading aerospace companies and world leaders. India-Russia relations remain strong despite Moscow’s attack on Ukraine.
