Jose Jacob, CEO of Antony Waste Management, said: “India will chair the G-20 until November 2023. India’s main focus remained on green energy adoption. We are pleased that the budget also focuses on our industry, especially scrapping old or polluting vehicles, segregating waste and raising capital from the municipal bond market.”
Saurabh Shivhare, director of Kapila Agro Industries, said exemption from income tax of up to Rs 7 lakh would benefit farm families the most. Farmers will reap good benefits from the result of this far-reaching step. A campaign has been launched to give priority to industries related to agriculture, milk and fishing in the budget. This is a welcome step and farmers have become more empowered in terms of power and economics.
Brij Bhushan Agarwal, managing director of Shyam Metallics, said the metal industry would benefit from government plans to invest in urban, transport and infrastructure development. Along with this, additional attention has been paid to the MSME sector, so economic activities will increase. Pinaki Bhattacharya, Managing Director and CEO of AMP Energy India, said that promoting green growth is one of the seven priorities in the 2023-24 fiscal year. This underscores the government’s commitment to continued momentum in the green energy sector for years to come.
