New Delhi: Aloe vera is one of those plants. Which is found in most homes. Aloe vera has great importance in Ayurveda. Aloe vera is known as Ghritkumari. The biggest diseases are kept away from the use of aloe vera. But let us tell you that aloe vera is not only useful for making juices or beauty treatments, but can also be used to make delicious pickles, vegetables, and barfi sweets. Let’s get to know your recipe-
Milk – 1.5 liters
Aloe vera stick – 4-5
Sugar – 100 grams
Coconut powder – 1 cup
Desi ghee – 1 tsp
Green cardamom powder – 1/2 teaspoon

- Cut the aloe vera and remove all the pulp in a bowl. Put the aloe vera pulp in a blender and blend to make juice.
- Pour the milk into a container and let it boil. Add aloe vera juice and mix well. Cook for two minutes and add sugar to the container. Also mix the coconut into the powder.
- Cook until the mixture thickens and begins to run out of the sides of the pan. Finally add desi ghee and green cardamom powder.
- Turn off the gas and scoop out the mixture onto a parchment paper lined tray. Roll it out to make a layer about the same thickness as the burfi. Store it in the fridge for 30 minutes and then cut it into pieces. Your aloe vera barfi is ready.
