Nagpur, A criminal branch team arrested the mechanic who had stolen the vehicle on the basis of confidential information. The stolen vehicle was also seized. The arrested defendant was identified as Salman Dilawar Khan Pathan (24), a resident of IBM Road. He is basically a resident of Ashti in Wardha district and has a two wheeler garage near Mankapur Chowk. On the afternoon of February 20, Yasmin Qadir Khan (33) had parked her car at the Mangalwari Compound.
Unknown defendant stole vehicle. Sadar police had registered a case against the unknown defendant. Crime Branch Unit 2 obtained information that a mechanic named Salman has been active in vehicle theft incidents for some time and is seeking a client for 1 vehicle. As soon as the news was received, the police arrested him.
Upon being investigated, he confessed to stealing the vehicle from the Mangalwari Compound. The stolen vehicle was seized from him and handed over to the Sadar police for further investigation.
