The Indian men’s hockey team defeated Oman 7-0 at the Incheon Asian Games. This is the second consecutive win for India.

Earlier on Sunday, in their first match, India defeated Sri Lanka by a wide margin of 8-0.

India’s margin of victory would have been higher, but the team missed several chances to score from penalty corners.

India recorded their second consecutive hockey win.

For India, Rupinderpal Singh and V Raghunath each scored two goals and Akashdeep Singh, Ramandeep Singh and Danish Mujtaba each scored one goal.

Despite the victory, India suffered a major setback when drag-flicker Rpininderpal Singh was injured during the match.

Now there is a question mark over his fielding in the all-important game against Pakistan.

In the first half, India had taken a 3-0 lead.
