Digital desk, New Delhi. The full trio of Suzie Bates (NZ), Charlie Dean (England) and Ashley Gardner (Aus) have been shortlisted for the ICC Women’s Player of the Month award for December 2022.

Suji was a key player in both the ODI and T20I series in the home series against Bangladesh. He performed brilliantly scoring an unbeaten 93 in the first 50 overs of the match. With 223 runs in both series, New Zealand’s opener is the first nomination for ICC Women’s Player of the Month.

He produced perhaps his best performance for the final match at Brabourne Stadium, scoring an unbeaten 66 before taking two crucial wickets to rescue a faltering Australian innings and seal a 54-run victory.
