
Flood devastation in Pakistan
NDMA, an organization that deals with natural disasters in Pakistan, says that 400 people have been killed so far and around 4.5 million people have been affected by the recent floods.
According to the NDMA, about a thousand people have also been injured.
According to the NDMA, the most affected provinces include Sindh, Punjab and Balochistan.
Among them, the maximum devastation occurred in Sindh province, where 200 people have been killed so far and around 28 lakh people have been affected by the floods.
Destruction
Around three lakh houses have been destroyed due to flooding, out of which only two lakh houses have been damaged in Sindh.
According to the organization, the standing crops in an area of about seven and a half lakh hectares have been completely destroyed, of which the standing crops in an area of about five lakh hectares have been destroyed only in Punjab province.
According to the authorities, around eight thousand head of cattle have also died in the flood.
A total of 484 relief camps have been established to provide relief to the flood-affected people, of which 444 are in Sindh and 40 in Punjab.
