Mumbai: Maharashtra’s Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Saturday submitted a budget of Rs 52,619.07 crore for the 2023-24 fiscal year. The budget presented this time is 14.52 percent higher than that of 2022-23. The budget was submitted to BMC Commissioner Iqbal Singh Chahal, who is the state-appointed administrator of the local body.
As per the budget documents, Rs 52,619.07 crore has been proposed in this budget estimate for FY 2023-24, which is 14.52% more (14.52%) than the budget estimate of Rs 45,949, 21 crores by 2022-23.
