People associated with the health sector believe that in the 2022 general budget, the government should spend money in the genetic sector. So that more and more people can be served. But with declining fertility rates and an aging population, we will see a huge increase in healthcare spending over the next 10 to 20 years. Lifestyle-related diseases double every 10 years. In such a situation, it has become mandatory for the government to do genome mapping. The government should promote the private sectors in the field of genome mapping. In addition, funds must be allocated for it to be able to monitor population genome mapping.
According to him, large investments are being made in the healthcare system internationally for personalized medicine. Because right now there is a better opportunity to create a better system. If India wants to increase its popularity globally in this sector, then it needs to invest more.
