Although there is a three-child policy, couples are not responding to it. In this situation, Sichuan Province will give the right to have children to single people.
According to the rules of this province of China, only married women had the right to have children. But the Chinese administration was forced to change its policy due to the significant decline in the birth rate. Starting February 15, the new rules will be implemented in Shichuan province. Single people will also have the right to have children from now on. Unmarried couples will also get the same benefits as married couples.

Not just couples, singles can also have children. They can adopt children by registering with the administration. There is no maximum limit to the number of children you can adopt. “This move is to maintain population parity,” the Sichuan Provincial Department of Health website said. This decision takes into account future development plans.” It is known that women will not be deprived of maternity benefits even if they are not married. The Chinese administration has also ensured that working women receive full salary during maternity leave.
Statistics say that China’s population of 141 crores decreased by 850,000 last year. 95 lakh children were born there at the same time. Which is the lowest since 1950. Also, 1 crore 4 lakh people died in 2022 due to covid and other causes. According to the report of the National Bureau of Statistics, the birth rate in China has decreased to 13 percent in 2021. The young generation is practically disappearing in China. It has influence in many fields, including economics. So the administration has to make a new plan to build a new generation.
