Aurangabad: As per the instructions of the government, the Aurangabad Municipal Corporation Health Department will carry out the ‘Conscious Parents Empowered Children’ campaign for 8 weeks. In this campaign, all children in the age group of 0-18 years will be tested. Under the leadership of the Municipal Corporation Administrator, Dr. Abhijit Chowdhary, this campaign was launched on Thursday at the Municipal Corporation School under the Naregaon Municipal Corporation and Rajnagar Health Centre.
The campaign was launched online by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. Health Minister Tanaji Sawant was prominently present at this moment. Municipal Health Medical Officer Dr. Paras Mandlecha, Education Officer Dongre, Director Sangeeta Tajve, Urdu Middle Director Sheikh Rahim, RCH Health Officer Dr. Balkrishna Rathodkar, RBSK health officers were present at the chance. On this occasion, health checks were carried out on 1052 students. On this occasion a blood donation camp was organized. In which 5 blood donors donated blood.
Along with this, this campaign was started at the Rajnagar Health Center by ex-corporator Nilakantha. On this occasion, the Nodal Officer of the program, Dr. Vaishali Mudgadkar, the Program Officer, Dr. Smita Kulkarni, Dr. Premlata Karad, the Health Officer of the Health Center and all the paramedical staff were present. Here 313 children were examined. Under this campaign, blood donation camps were organized in 5 locations. In this, 18 blood donors donated blood at MIT Hospital at Ambikanagar Health Center, 18 at Sigma Hospital at Rajnagar Health Center, 26 at Kamalnayan Bajaj Hospital, 7 at AIIMS Hospital at N Health Center -eleven.

Municipal Corporation Medical Director Dr. Paras Mandlecha said that there are a total of 974 schools and 280 Anganwadis in the Aurangabad Municipal Corporation area, in which there are 3, 75, 46 students in the age group from 0 to 18 years old. There are also 15 subsidized and non-subsidized children’s homes. It has 965 students. Health examination of 3, 75, 46 students will be carried out by the Municipal Corporation. People who need additional treatment at this health check will be referred to the scheme’s multi-specialty hospital for further treatment.

The health control of 221 patients was carried out at the Municipal Hospital located on the N-8. This includes 21 children and 200 men and women. Along with this, health check camps were organized in the remaining 38 urban health centers under the leadership of Officer Nodal Dr. Vaishali Mudgadkar in the presence of health center health officers. This campaign will be carried out daily in all the health centers of the Municipal Corporation.
