Daily digital news desk: An even bigger drop in just three days. Industrialist Gautam Adani was removed from the list of the 20 richest people in the world. So far, he has amassed a fortune of $124 billion. It was just over 61 billion even in the middle of last month. Statistics say that this is the company’s record loss. Earlier, on January 31, he was knocked out of the world’s 10 richest people. Then, within three days of February, the leader of the Adani group fell further back.

The same is probably called reading from heaven! What was it and what has it become? This is now becoming literally true about Gautama Adani. A year and a half ago, he was the second richest person in Asia. Only Reliance boss Mukesh Ambani was in charge. Even Adani left the Chinese tycoon behind. After that, his rise was almost meteoric. In 2021, his wealth increased by 261 percent! His rise to the list of the richest man in the country far exceeds all previous figures.

But over the years, the wind changed. A report by Hindenburg Research has raised the pulse of the Adani group. In the 400-page report, Adani’s share has plummeted. The property has gone down a lot. And Gautam Adani is far behind on that list. The situation is so bad that the FPO has to be withdrawn. Adani had launched an FPO of Rs 20,000 crore amid a bloodbath in the stock market. The shares were sold in their entirety. But due to the continuous fall in price, investors were afraid of losing a lot of money. Hence the decision to withdraw the FPO to save face.

And on Friday, shares fell further. Adani’s assets have declined by 76 percent since December. It was seen on Friday that Adani’s name is not even among the 20 richest people in the world. This is said to be the company’s biggest loss. And because of these Adani Group losses, its shareholding companies are suffering. Meanwhile, lawyer ML Sharma has filed a public interest litigation on behalf of the Adani group in the Supreme Court challenging the Hindenburg Report.
