Then the situation worsened with an outbreak of epidemics. The ‘Hello Hong Kong’ project will be launched to enhance Hong Kong’s image to the world and attract tourists. Part of that is the distribution of airline tickets. This is the claim of an international press.

In total, the Hong Kong administration has 200 plans. But the most notable of them is the free ticket distribution scheme. That ticket will be distributed by Cathay Pacific Airways and Airline HK Express. Tourists from various Asian countries, including China, will get such a ticket. Tickets will also be given to European and American tourists. Even locals who want to travel to other countries will receive a small amount of tiki.
However, the number of tourists from Hong Kong has started to increase. While 91 thousand tourists came to Hong Kong in 2021, the number increased to 6 lakh 5 thousand in 2022. But even that is paltry compared to pre-epidemic numbers. On average, more than five and a half million tourists came to that country. The Hong Kong administration made this desperate decision to get that number back. However, the Chinese tourist quota was removed. After three years, the border will be opened on three sides of the country.
