Vivo V20 SE is an attractive phone, but overall it can’t compete with Vivo V20. The design of the phone is different. While the appearance of the Vivo 20 phone appears to be similar to the Vivo X smartphone, the Vivo V20 SE is not. Plastic body has been given in this phone. This type of body is common in other smartphones in this price range.
One thing that the Vivo V20 SE and the Vivo V20 have in common is the phone’s large 6.44-inch Super AMOLED display. A dewdrop notch has been placed at the top of the phone, which some people may like better than the hole-punch design. Being an AMOLED screen, the output of this phone is quite sharp and the display of content is quite attractive. It doesn’t come with a high refresh rate panel, but this feature is available on the Poco X3 in this price range. We would have preferred an AMOLED panel at the faster refresh rate, and that too just for the colors. Taking advantage of the AMOLED panel, Vivo has included an in-display fingerprint scanner. Which is very convenient to unlock the V20 SE.

The V20SE has curved edges, which makes it quite comfortable to hold. The top and bottom of the phone is flat. We really liked the placement of the buttons on the phone, all of which are located on the right side of the screen, making them easy to reach. On the left side of the phone, Vivo has placed the SIM tray at the top. The nano-SIM slot and the microSD card slot are present on the tray of the phone.
Vivo has given two color options on the V20SE phone, they are Aquamarine Green and Gravity Black. We have the Gravity Black variant of the phone. The back panel of the phone is quite glossy, and fingerprints immediately remain on it while you hold it. Vivo has also given away a case in the phone box, which can fix your problem. Apart from this, there are three cameras located on the rear panel of the phone, which will remind you of Oppo Reno 4 and Galaxy Note 20.
Talking about the specification, Vivo V20 SE phone is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor. The choice of this processor is quite surprising as we have seen this processor in less expensive phones than V20 SE. Vivo has provided 8 GB of RAM in this phone which will help the phone in heavy work and multitasking. Apart from this, 128 GB storage will be available on the phone. However, you can increase it up to 1TB via microSD card.

The Vivo V20 SE packs a 4100 mAh battery, which is slightly less than what is available in a smartphone in this price range. Vivo has included a 33W flash charge charger, which will work for fast charging of this phone. For connectivity, Vivo has included Bluetooth 5, dual band Wi-Fi, and 4 navigation systems.
In terms of software, this phone runs on FuntouchOS 11 just like the Vivo V20. However, the Vivo V20 SE phone comes with Android 10 instead of Android 11. But Vivo has promised that it will come up with the Android 11 update for this phone soon as well.
The UI of the phone is very similar to the UI of the Vivo V20. There are a lot of bloatware pre-installed on this smartphone. We find applications like Facebook, V-Appstore and Snapchat. We will keep an eye on these apps to see if they spam us with notifications.

Talking about the camera, the main camera of this phone is 48-megapixel, for macro shots, the phone has an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle camera and a 2-megapixel depth camera. This hardware is slightly inferior to that of the Vivo V20, which has a 64-megapixel main camera. The V series is known for its selfie cameras, the Vivo V20 SE has a 32MP selfie camera, which is decent for the price.
