Mumbai Prominent Hollywood filmmaker James Cameron is impressed with the work of director SS Rajamouli, who is drawing worldwide acclaim for ‘RRR’, and has offered to help the director if he is willing to work in Hollywood. Rajamouli and ‘RRR’ composer MM Keeravani met Cameron at the ‘Critics’ Choice Awards’ (CCA) recently. The film won Best Foreign Film and Best Song for ‘Naatu Naatu’ at the CCA.
Earlier, ‘Naatu Naatu’ was also awarded in the Best Song category at the Golden Globe Awards. A short clip of the meeting between Rajamouli and Cameron has been shared on the ‘RRR’ Twitter handle. In this video, Cameron says, “If you want to make a movie here, let’s talk.”
Cameron, director of hit movies like ‘Terminator,’ ‘Aliens,’ ‘Titanic,’ and ‘Avatar,’ appears in the video praising RRR’s direction and story. He also appreciated Keeravani’s work. RRR, directed by Rajamouli, is a story of Indian revolutionaries. Ram Charan and Junior NTR have leading roles in the film. The film is set in the 1920s, when India was under British rule. Ajay Devgan and Alia Bhatt also acted in the film.
