Rajouri/Jammu: The Jammu and Kashmir Police said that the terrorists involved in the attack on Dangri village are hiding in the hilly areas of Rajouri district and the person who gives information about them will receive a reward of Rs 10. He announced a reward of 10 rupees. In an advisory issued Tuesday night, police also warned of strict measures against those who help terrorists in any way. Seven people were killed and 14 others injured in a January 1 terror attack in the Dangri village of Rajouri. Five people, including two brothers, were killed when the terrorists opened fire on some houses, while two children were killed when an IED (Enhanced Explosive Device) left behind by the attackers exploded the next day.
Police said: “The terrorists who masterminded the attack on Dangri village are still hiding in the Rajouri hills. It is possible that they will carry out a terrorist incident again.” “Some people are helping these terrorists with other things besides giving information about the activities of the police and (security) forces,” he said.

He said these “terrorists” are being closely monitored and strict legal action will be taken against them soon. “Rs 10 lakhs and other rewards will be given to anyone who gives information about terrorists,” police said. The informant’s name will be kept secret.
The police have also asked people to be vigilant. Earlier on Sunday, Dangri residents expressed concern about the “failure” of security agencies to track down the terrorists behind the attacks in the town.
