Karan Johar got emotional at the wedding of Siddharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani, he said: I met Sid a decade and a half ago.

Karan Johar, who cast Sidharth Malhotra, Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan with the 2012 film Student Of The Year, is now happy that all three of his students are married. The filmmaker attended Siddharth and Kiara Advani’s wedding at Jaisalmer’s Suryagarh Palace and wrote a note on Instagram to share his sentiments.

Sharing an adorable wedding photo of Sidharth kissing Kiara on the cheek, Karan Johar reminisced about the time he first met Sidharth and Kiara and found a lot in common between the two. He wrote: “I met him a decade and a half ago… They were both very calm, strong and very sensitive. At that time I met both of them after many years and when I saw both of them, I understood that these two can share a very beautiful relationship with strength and dignity. These two pillars are now united in an irreconcilable bond. Together we can create the most magical love story.

A member of the baraat gang had revealed on Tuesday that Karan had danced during Siddharth’s baraat. Karan once said on Koffee With Karan that she would dance in Dola Re Dola with Shahid Kapoor at Siddharth’s wedding. The filmmaker’s fans reacted to her note in the comments section.
