Kriti, who had not seen Ramanand Sagar’s Ramayan, feels it is important to create stories that are educational for children. They feel that visual memory for education is strengthened and for children to learn about the story it has to be recorded in their mind.
Adipurush sparked several controversies shortly after the teaser was released. People claimed that the film hurt religious sentiments and was criticized for poor visual effects. Faced with the anger of the public, the creators were forced to make some necessary changes to the mythological drama, which resulted in the premiere being postponed. Adipusuh was initially scheduled to release in January, but the creators later pushed the date back for a mid-year release. The long-awaited movie is now all set to hit theaters on June 16, 2023.
On the work front, after Bhediya, Kriti Sanon will now be seen opposite Kartik Aaryan in Shehzada, a remake of Allu Arjun’s Telugu film Ala Vaikunthapremulu. The Hindi version, directed by Rohit Dhawan and produced by T-Series, will be released on February 17, 2023. It also has an action movie titled Ganpath with Heropanti’s co-star Tiger Shroff. Apart from these, she will be paired with Shahid Kapoor in a robot rom-com drama and she will be seen in The Crew, produced by Ekta Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor, alongside Kareena Kapoor Khan and Tabu.
