It can be known that due to the pending issue of the CBO reservation in the civic bodies elections, the elections of many municipalities in the state of Maharashtra are currently pending. At the same time, the high court had delivered its verdict in this matter on July 28, 2022 for the last time.
In the same hearing, the court allowed the political reservation for the OBCs, but the process of electing mayors directly through public votes and whether the OBC reservation will be applicable in the elections of 92 municipalities in the state. .
