Despite Mahavitaran’s repeated calls to pay electricity bills, a campaign has been launched to cut off electricity to domestic, commercial and industrial houses due to non-payment of installments. In the last two months, the electricity supply has been cut off to 40,915 defaulters in the Pune area.
132 crore 89 lakh rupees is outstanding
6 lakh 6 thousand 569 household, commercial and industrial customers in Pune area have an outstanding electricity bill of Rs 132 crore 89 lakh. Of these, Rs 44 crore 78 lakh at 2 lakh 65 thousand 358 clients from Pune city and Rs 33 crore 8 lakh at 1 lakh 28 thousand 5 clients from Pimpri-Chinchwad city, while in rural areas of Ambegaon, Junnar, Maval, Khed, Velhe, Haveli talukas Rs. Rs 55 crore 3 lakh is due to 2 lakh 13 thousand 205 customers.
All Mahavitaran expenses depend on the electricity bill
Mahavitaran’s main source of income is the recovery of the electricity bill. All electricity purchase expenses, daily maintenance and repair expenses, loan week, contractors’ responsibility, installation expenses, etc. They depend on the recovery of the electricity bill, but due to the non-payment of installments of the electricity bill, Mahavitaran does not want the action to cut power has also been accelerated. Appeal to cooperate with Mahavitaran
All Mahavitaran engineers, officers and employees are currently in the field to cut and connect the cut power. Chief Engineer Rajendra Pawar is visiting the area and visiting the subdivision and branches to review the pending reclamation. The special thing is that despite a month’s outstanding electricity bill, considering the amount of the electricity bill, the process of cutting off electricity continues according to the rules.
