Mahindra launches affordable Mahindra Thar 2WD, price is just Rs 9.99 lakh, know all

The renowned automotive company in the country has delivered a gift to its customers at the beginning of the new year. Yes, for the customers who want to experience Thar at affordable prices, Thar at affordable prices has now been introduced. Mahindra has launched the new Mahindra Thar 2WD SUV in the Indian market, with an ex-showroom starting price of Rs 9.99 lakh. The new entry-level version has arrived in three variants. Along with this, it is also in two new color options. Mahindra has introduced in it a new 1.5-litre diesel engine. We tell you that this starting price for this SUV is only for the 10,000 initial reservations and its delivery will begin on January 14.

Mahindra Thar 2WD price and variants:
The 2WD AX(O) diesel MT hardtop variant of the Mahindra Thar costs Rs 9.99 lakh.
The 2WD LX diesel MT hardtop variant of the Thar costs Rs 10.99 lakh.
Thar’s 2WD LX petrol AT hardtop variant costs Rs 13.49 lakh.

Mahindra Thar 2WD Design and Appearance:
Talking about the design and appearance, Mahindra Thar 2WD will get two colors as Blazing Bronze and Everest White. These colors are in addition to previously available options including Red Rage, Galaxy Grey, Napoli Black and Aqua Marine. Aside from the 4×4 badging, the rest of the look remains the same.

Engine and power Mahindra Thar:
Talking about the engine and power, Mahindra has come up with a new engine this time. The Mahindra Thar diesel variant features a new D117 CRDe engine with RWD range that generates a power of 117PS and a torque of 300Nm. However, the petrol variant will have the same 2.0-litre mStallion turbo petrol engine producing 150bhp and 320Nm of torque. It comes with a 6-speed automatic unit only. The 4WD variants of the Mahindra Thar now get an advanced electronic brake locking differential. It is best for off-road lovers who want to have a new experience.
