New Delhi. Major automaker Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M)’s net profit rose 14 per cent to Rs 1,528 crore in the December quarter of the current fiscal year. Strong sales boosted the company’s earnings. The company gave this information on Friday. The company made a net profit of Rs 1,335 crore in the third quarter of the latest fiscal year 2021-22. During this period, the company’s revenue also increased by 41 per cent to Rs 21,654 crore. 15,349 crore in the same period a year ago. The company said its total sales during the quarter under review rose 45 percent to 1,76,094 units.
In the same period of the previous year, the company had sold 1,21,167 vehicles. Mahindra Group integrated net profit rose 34 per cent to Rs 2677 crore in the December quarter. 1,987 crores in the same period last year. M&M’s December quarter consolidated revenue increased to Rs 30,620 crore from Rs 23,594 crore.
