OnePlus will introduce the OnePlus 11R, OnePlus 11 5G and OnePlus Buds Pro 2 TWS earphones at the Cloud 11 launch event on February 7. In addition to these new products, the Chinese company is also preparing to introduce its first foldable smartphone soon. The line of foldable smartphones is said to include normal foldable and foldable devices. OnePlus has reportedly filed a trademark for the OnePlus V Fold and OnePlus V Flip smartphones. At the moment there is no official information about the OnePlus foldable model and it is also not clear if the phones will arrive this year or not.

Internal testing of one such device has been claimed to have started in many regions, including Europe. The company is said to be launching a horizontal foldable smartphone and a clamshell foldable smartphone.

OnePlus has yet to give any information on the specifications of its foldable phone. In August last year, OnePlus co-founder Pete Lau shared a photo of the hinge on Twitter, hinting at creating a foldable smartphone without revealing its name or other details.

OnePlus’ first foldable smartphone could be something similar to the Oppo Find N, which was launched in December 2021. It will come with Android 13. OnePlus is expected to reveal its plans for the foldable phone during the Cloud 11 launch event. OnePlus 11R, OnePlus 11 5G and OnePlus Buds Pro 2 TWS earphones will be launched at the event on February 7.

Currently, Samsung has a lot to offer in foldable smartphones. OnePlus subsidiary Oppo recently introduced the Find N2 and Find N2 Flip in December last year. The upcoming OnePlus phone can compete with Samsung, Xiaomi Mix Fold 2, and Motorola phones.
