Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathan film has achieved another milestone. The film Pathan has risen to #5 in the list of top 10 films of 2023. Pathan is the only Hindi film among the top five biggest releases of 2023 to reach this stage. Talking about five movies, according to Box Office Worldwide, the first among them is the movie ‘Full River Raid’, which has done a business of $588 million (around Rs 48 billion). The second number is the movie ‘The Wandering Earth 2’ which has grossed $496 million (about Rs 40,000 crore). The fourth number on this list is ‘Hiddle Blade’ and the fifth number is taken by Pathan, which has grossed $103 million (around Rs 8.5 billion) at the global box office.
On the other hand, if we talk about his business in India, there has been a 7% drop in Pathan’s profit on the 14th. Although his collection is still going on in crores, the collection has now gone from double digits to single digit. Where the film managed to earn around Rs 10 crore on the 13th, on the other hand, according to the Box Office Worldwide report, its earnings were down to around Rs 8 crore on Tuesday. Talking about its earnings in India, the film has grossed around Rs 430 crore in Hindi and has fetched close to Rs 450 crore in India across all languages.
The director of the film, Siddharth Anand, who is also a screenwriter and producer, has once again proved himself through Loha Pathan. The film ‘Pathan’ starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham has reached a point where only a few films have reached so far, having been surrounded by controversy in the beginning. The trio are first seen together in Pathan and they turned out to be very lucky for the film. Also, Salman Khan has a cameo in the movie. The insanity of seeing both Khans together also turned out to be useful for the film. Pathan has crossed the mark of Rs 832 crore in total worldwide earnings so far and Pathan is expected to soon be able to set a new record by earning Rs 900 crore.
