Ramesh Bala said through his tweet this morning that since its launch on Wednesday, Pathaan has raised a worldwide collection of Rs 235 crore and this figure is for two days. On the other hand, it is said that in these two days the film has raised about 70 million rupees in India.
The film reportedly grossed Rs 55 crore on its first day in India, while globally the film surpassed the Rs 100 crore mark.
In terms of earnings, Pathaan seems to be on its way to being called Bollywood’s biggest film. Seeing King Khan on the big screen after 4 years, fans are showering a lot of love. The film secured the seventh position among the biggest opening films on the first day, while it has achieved the first position among the films with the highest grossing on the first day in India.
Shahrukh Khan’s Pathan faced many controversies even before its release. There was a lot of fuss about the song ‘Besharam Rang’ from the movie. After that, the boycott trend continued for the film as well. But leaving all these obstacles behind, the film is gaining a lot. Chances are high that Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathan could easily cross the 200 crore mark in India alone on the weekend. In such a situation, one has to see how many records the movie breaks with worldwide earnings.
