Yesterday i.e. February 6th was the second Monday of Shah Rukh Khan’s hit movie Pathan. The day was a big one as there is a lot of anticipation for the movie for the first two weekends and the collection is still running at a decent pace as well. Now, before this, the amount Pathan collects will decide a lot about the movie. For example, will it set a record of its own by beating the biggest Indian movies ever in collection from this time period? Will the film be able to cross the 900 crores? Or will it even cross 1000 crores? The answers to all these questions will depend on the next Pathan collections. As for the second Monday i.e. Pathan 13th collection, the pace of the film is said to be a bit slow.
Pathan’s collection on the 13th was less than half that of Sunday, that is, the second Sunday of the film. There has been talk of a drop of up to 40% in revenue. Publishing the provisional figures on Monday, Box Office India said the film’s gross could amount to Rs 9-10 crore. However, in gross collection, the film surpassed ₹832 crore and became the biggest Hindi film to date. Giving this information on his Twitter account, Yash Raj Films has released the worldwide gross collection figures for the film.
Talking about the total business of the film in India so far, well-known business analyst Sumit Kadel released his figures and said that Pathan’s gross in India so far has reached around Rs 440 crore. He has left KGF-2 behind in this regard. Pathan has done this feat in just 13 days. The lifetime collection of KGF-2 is said to be Rs 434 crore. Along with this, the business analyst has also said that the Monday take will be Rs 9-10 crore. Pathan’s current collection trend suggests that the film may cross Rs 900 crore very soon. However, looking at the collection trend in the next few days, one can tell whether it crosses the Rs 1000 crore figure or not.
