The brand has been promoting the X5 series for some time now. Tshirts Having Done Now the official release date for this series has finally been revealed. Poco said in a tweet from the official Twitter handle that the Poco X5 and X5 Pro will launch globally on February 6. The phone will be announced at an online launch event at 20:00 GMT+8.

Like most Poco smartphones, the upcoming Poco X5 and Poco X5 Pro are expected to be rebranded as Redmi phones. The X5 is expected to be a rebadged Redmi Note 12 5G with Poco’s signature camera bar. The X5 Pro, on the other hand, is a masked Redmi Note 12 Pro Speed Edition.
Talking about the color option, this smartphone is expected to see new colors like the yellow hue. Talking about the display, both Poco phones have a 6.67-inch AMOLED display, which can get Full HD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Poco X5 can get a Snapdragon 695 CPU, while X5 Pro may get a more powerful Snapdragon 778G processor.
Talking about the camera, the X5 Pro is expected to get the first 108-megapixel camera while the standard may come with a 48-megapixel camera. In both you can find an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera and a 2-megapixel sensor. Talking about the battery, a 5,000 mAh battery can be found.
