Redmi Go First Impressions in Hindi, How Powerful is Redmi Go? at first sight

Xiaomi competes with other companies in the budget segment. Xiaomi launched its latest Redmi Go phone in India on Tuesday i.e. March 19, 2019. The Redmi Go price in India is Rs 4499, this phone comes with Android 8.1 Oreo (Go Edition). Today, the first sale of Redmi Go was held on the Mi Home Store, in addition to the e-commerce website Flipkart and Mi.com. We spent some time with the phone during the Redmi Go launch event, let us tell you about it.

The new Redmi Go phone is quite compact in this price range and surprisingly, it is quite sturdy despite having a plastic body. The length-width of the phone is 140.4×70.1×8.35 millimeters. Redmi Go fits easily in the hand and the grip on the phone is also very good. The phone has curved edges and weighs 137 grams.

The Redmi Go phone has a 5-inch HD display (720×1280 pixels) with a 16:9 aspect ratio. The screen looks vibrant indoors, but colors aren’t clear enough in daylight. Android navigation buttons are provided on the bezel at the bottom of the phone. Redmi Go does not have a very modern look, but it is okay considering the price of the phone.

Redmi Go phone will be available in black and blue color

Xiaomi’s latest Redmi Go smartphone comes in blue and black colors. The blue variant comes with a glossy finish while the black variant comes with a matte texture. Due to the matte finish on the black variant, fingerprints and smudges don’t come off easily. Glossy plastic and glass panels easily collect dust and smudges.

The top of the phone has a 3.5mm audio jack and a microphone hole. At the same time, the micro-USB port, the speaker and the second hole for the microphone were located at the bottom of the phone. The power and volume buttons are on the right side of the phone. There are two trays on the left side of Redmi Go: the single Nano SIM on the top tray, while the second SIM and microSD card up to 128 GB can be installed on the bottom tray.

Xiaomi has claimed that a double pyrolytic graphite sheet has been used under the plastic shell, which keeps the phone cool by reducing heat leaving the phone. The Redmi Go phone is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor paired with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage.

To give life to the phone, it has been equipped with a 3,000 mAh battery. Talking about the camera setup, the phone has an 8-megapixel rear camera, which has an F/2.0 aperture. A 5-megapixel sensor has been placed on the front panel. Redmi Go runs on Android 8.1 Oreo (Go Edition).

The phone comes pre-installed with several apps in a ‘light’ avatar so that they work well with low-end hardware. Redmi Go phone performance is fast and apps open fast too. We will give you detailed information about camera quality, performance, screen quality and battery life in our review.
