Mumbai: The leader of Shiv Sena’s Uddhav Thackeray faction, Sanjay Raut, said on Friday that he has accused Union Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Narayan Rane against him in public forums and sent a legal notice for doing ” baseless accusations.” Raut said that Rane should either prove his accusations against him or apologize to him.

Sanjay Raut tweeted: “Narayan Rane is making baseless accusations against me and Shiv Sena. He should prove his accusation or apologize. I have sent you a legal notice through my lawyer Sarthak Shetty. Jai Maharashtra”.

Rane is one of the fiercest critics of former Maharashtra Prime Minister Uddhav Thackeray and his Shiv Sena faction. The war of words between Rane and Raut has become more intense.
