Strike

chandrapur, The employees of the state government, semi-government, teachers and other departments have started an indefinite strike to implement the old pension scheme by canceling the contributory pension scheme. Saturday was the fifth day of the movement. Even though the government employees were on vacation on Saturday, a large number of agitating employees had gathered in front of the District Magistrate’s office so that there would be no expense in the movement.

In front of various government offices in the city, the employees of that department are sitting in the agitation pandal. Employees are on strike outside many government offices, including Zilla Parishad, the city’s Irrigation Department. So, in some pandals, bhajans and kirtans are performed to bring wisdom to the government.

Even on the fifth day of the strike, the district health service was negatively affected. The health administration has temporarily appointed private nurses and trainee nurses to care for patients. Due to the involvement of the employees of the Tehsil Office and the Registry Office, including the Administration Building, the work related to the Registry and other Tehsils came to a complete standstill. Due to the absence of any employees in the tehsil office in the rural areas, farm work has come to a standstill.

Despite the rain on Saturday morning, there was great enthusiasm among the agitators in the afternoon. On Saturday, Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi, the Bais Police Association and AAP handed over the letters declaring their support for the state employees movement. This movement is carried out under the leadership of the Maharashtra State Government, the Coordinating Committee of the Non-Teaching Employees Organization of the Metropolitan Municipality, the Teachers and the Non-Teaching Employees.
