Ismail, 18 months old, was rescued from the rubble in the Syrian capital of Azaz, virtually unharmed, to the delight of all. One of his uncles said that the little girl’s mother also died in the earthquake. She was fertile.

Little Ismail, however, is not old enough to understand this. Turkey was rocked by three strong earthquakes from Monday morning to evening. In total, more than one hundred aftershocks were felt in the affected area. Common people are buried under numerous houses. Their screams come from under the rubble. Hearing that sound, the rescue team is trying to save. The situation is the same in Syria.
