Delhi: Tata Motors launched its cheapest electric car last year. After the launch of Tata Tiago EV, its price was estimated at Rs 8 lakh 49 thousand. Meanwhile, after the launch of this car, the company announced that this is only the starting price. At this price only the first 20 thousand customers will get the car. The car met with better response than customer expectations and more than 20,000 people reserved. Now, as the company decided, the price of the car has increased.
250 km of travel on a single charge
Tata Motors has increased the price of the car by 20 thousand (Price Hike). After this, now the Tata Tiago EV price has risen to 8.69 lakhs. Also, the price of the Tor variant has been increased from 11.79 lakhs to 11.99 lakhs. The Tata Tiago EV is available in 8 variants with different battery packs and charging options. There are two battery pack options available in the Tata Tiago EV at 19.2kWh and 24kWh. A smaller 19.2 kWh rear battery provides a range of 250 km on a single charge. The 24kWh battery is claimed to be able to travel up to 315km on a single charge. A car can travel at a speed of 60 km/h.
