The price of all variants of Tata Tiago EV has been increased by Rs 20,000. After this price hike, the starting price of the electric car is now Rs 8.69 lakh (ex-showroom). At the same time, at the time of launch in the year 2022, the car had a launch price of Rs 8.49 lakh (ex-showroom). However, even after increasing the price, the car is still the most affordable electric car in India.
To remind you, Tata Motors had earlier announced that it would increase the prices of the Tiago EV hatchback by up to four percent from January 2023. At the same time, it has now been increased. Tata Tiago EV specs
There are two battery packs in the Tata Tiago EV hatchback. Outside of this, a 19.2kWh pack and a 24kWh battery option are available. The smaller battery pack is mated to a 61hp 110Nm electric motor, while the larger battery pack has a 74hp 114Nm electric motor offering a MIDC certified range of 250km and 315km respectively. Other than this, the EV supports fast charging and can be boosted from 10 to 80 percent in 57 minutes with a 50 kW fast charger.
