According to the sources, a threatening mail was received on the email id of NIA, in which there was a threat of terrorist attack in Mumbai. The sender of the email described himself as a Taliban and claimed that this was going to happen on the orders of Sirajuddin Haqqani, a prominent leader of the Taliban organization.

As soon as the information about the threatening email was received, the Mumbai police were informed about it. Currently, the police and other agencies are investigating and trying to find out where the email was sent from. At the same time, an alert has been issued in different cities of the country.

Who is Sirajuddin Haqqani?
Sirajuddin Haqqani is the head of the Haqqani network, the most dangerous group in the Taliban. After the return of the Taliban in Afghanistan, he has been appointed acting Minister of the Interior. Along with this, he is ranked as number 2 leader of the Taliban. The Haqqani network has significant influence on the Taliban. The US investigative agency FBI has placed a reward of 10 million dollars for information on the location of Haqqani.

In early January, there was a threat of a terrorist attack in Mumbai. One person called the Mumbai Police control room and threatened to carry out bomb blasts at different locations in the city.
