To make tomato garlic chutney, first wash the tomatoes and cut them into large pieces after wiping them with a cotton cloth. After this, finely chop the garlic and green chillies as well. Now put oil in a pan and heat it over medium heat. When the oil is hot, first add the mustard seeds and fry them. When the mustard begins to crisp, add the finely chopped garlic and cook for 1 minute.

After cooking the garlic for 1 minute, add tomato chunks and cook. The tomatoes have to be cooked until they are very soft. After the tomatoes soften, add red chili powder and salt to taste and mix.
