Nagpur. A painful accident occurred on Tuesday afternoon at Mankapur Chowk. The driver of the container truck ran over the elderly couple. In this accident, the husband was killed on the spot and the wife was injured. After the accident, a crowd of people gathered on the road and traffic was affected for a while. Mankapur Police arrived at the scene and eased the traffic. The deceased was said to be Vitthalrao Barde (71), a resident of Gayatri Nagar, Zingabai Takli. His wife Guntabai (65) is undergoing treatment at the hospital.
