Denver. A 17-year-old student shot and wounded two administrators at a Denver high school in the US on Wednesday. Following this, a dead body was found near the car of the same student that same night. However, authorities have yet to identify the body. Authorities said that because of the student’s behavior, he was being frisked daily at the school. But there were no officers there at the time of the shooting Wednesday. According to authorities, the 17-year-old suspect fled the scene after attacking the administrators. Denver police identified the student suspect as Austin Lyle.
Denver Health Hospital spokeswoman Heather Burke said one of the injured administrators was released from the hospital Wednesday afternoon. At the same time, the condition of the second administrator remains critical. The vehicle of the student accused of the assault was found in a remote mountainous area about 50 miles (80 kilometers) southwest of Denver. Park County Sheriff Tom McGraw said a body was found near the car Wednesday night near the small Park County town of Bailey. Faced with criticism over the lack of security, Denver school officials said they would deploy armed officers to the city’s public high schools.
