Mumbai: Friday is going to be an important day for Mumbaikars. Two Vande Bharat trains will depart from the CSMT station, which will be signaled by PM Narendra Modi himself. Vande Bharat, the state-of-the-art semi-high speed train running from Mumbai to Solapur and from Mumbai to Shirdi will make the journey of the passengers easy and pleasant.

Central Railway has also completed test runs of the two Vande Bharat trains running between CSMT and Sai Nagar Shirdi and Solapur. Both trains were prepared ahead of the prime minister’s visit on Friday. Vigorous preparations have been made for the inauguration program. Platform number 18 of the CSMT station has been completely converted into a cantonment. GRP and RPF personnel have been deployed along with state police. On Thursday, together with the Central Investigation Agencies, the Railway Board officials also reviewed the preparations.

Vande Bharat will leave at three o’clock.

According to a senior CR official, the flag show of both trains by PM Modi will start at 3:00 pm on Friday. First Vande Bharat will be shipped from Mumbai to Solapur. After that, the PM will score Vande Bharat for Shirdi around 3:30 pm State CM Eknath Shinde, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav, DCM Devendra Fadnavis, Railway Board Executive Director Anil Kumar Lahoti and senior officials will be present at the occasion. The chief priests of the Shirdi temple, Pandharpur, have also been invited to the opening ceremony.

Tourists will like Vande Bharat

Central Railway General Manager Naresh Lalwani, who is taking stock of the preparations for the opening at CSMT station, said it is a source of pride for us that two Vande Bharats are running simultaneously from Mumbai. GM Lalwani said that full preparations have been made for the operation of both trains. State-of-the-art trains will run through the state’s two pilgrimage centers, Pandharpur and Shirdi. GM Lalwani said that Vande Bharat with all the state of the art facilities will also attract tourists. Regarding the Western and Northern Ghats getting in the way of these trains, the general manager said that Vande Bharat is a light and powerful engine train, so it can easily run on difficult ghats without bunkers.

These trains will be the country’s Vande Bharat 9 and 10 trains and Vande Bharat-2 series trains 7 and 8, the updated version of Vande Bharat. It should be noted that this train is equipped with an armor system. Apart from this, an upgraded 4G 5G system has been installed. Many facilities have been made available, such as touch screen light buttons, etc., just like an airplane.
