Xiaomi’s RedmiBook laptop will launch in India on August 3, know everything

The Indian launch of RedmiBook has been set for August 3. Xiaomi confirmed via an invitation to the media on Tuesday. The company teased the launch of the first Redmi branded laptop in India a few days back and now the launch date has been confirmed. Xiaomi entered the laptop segment in India last year with the launch of the Mi Notebook range and now the RedmiBook range is also entering the Indian market. The device is likely to launch with an aggressive price tag and competitive specs. Xiaomi has already introduced the RedmiBook, RedmiBook Air and RedmiBook Pro models in China.

“Last year, Redmi became more of a smartphone brand with a phone-plus strategy. We have launched products that will be part of your phone and your lifestyle, such as power banks, earbuds and smart bands. The company said in its invitation.

The teaser poster shows a classic layout with thick frames all around the screen, especially at the bottom and top. While the company has launched several RedmiBook models in China, it is unclear which model will make its India debut. The Redmi Book series was first introduced in China in 2019, and several variants have been launched in the domestic market since then. The most recent releases include the RedmiBook Pro 14 and RedmiBook Pro 15 laptops in both versions with AMD Ryzen and 11th Gen Intel Core processors.

With the launch of the RedmiBook, Xiaomi is also reportedly expanding its Mi Notebook product line in the country. More specifically, the Mi Notebook Pro 14, Mi Notebook Ultra 15.6 laptops are reported to be brought to India. However, Xiaomi has not yet made any announcement in this regard.
